- Homeroom is incredibly easy to use. Simply have an administator install it on your machine (or do it yourself!), and get going.

- Fully Featured:
- Homeroom does not contain as many features as other MISs, which can be an issue for institutions trying to hold an all-in-one solution.
- Cloud-Based
- Homeroom requires an internet connection at all times to be able to connect to the database. Without one, Homeroom will not be able to run.
- Speed:
- Homeroom might not run as fast as expected.1
- Data Visualisation:
- Data can't be visualised easily using Homeroom.
